In Chaddlewood, Plympton – take the B3416 north off A38. Sustainable fish, local sourced potatoes, own formula batter. Cooked fresh while you wait – not just ‘kept warm’. Been winning awards for several years. First Place at the National Fish & Chip Awards. Has chairs & tables to eat in – and very clean with friendly helpful staff. Has big car park and Coop supermarket a few doors away, toilets in adjacent Community Centre. Going to Cornwall – from Exeter to Bodmin – don’t use A30 north of Dartmoor but use A38 south of Dartmoor instead – it’s only 10 miles longer and the food is worth it.

We sat outside for a quick bite to eat and threw the lot in the bin ,the staff are young kids with no manners

Regular user disappointed by quality of last two orders. Chips tasted as if they had been cooked for a while more batter than fish and prices seem to have increased in line with a reduction in quality. Have decided not to use again.

Visited this Resturant at 2000hrs on the 29th March. Waited ten minutes to get served as two young girl staff members chatting, they new that we were waiting to get served.
Shame. The meal was really good but could do with better staff training.
