Overnight stay good value with breakfast included. Attentive and friendly staff. Hotel set in well tended Gardens.spacious dining area with relaxing atmosphere.Plenty of level parking spaces.Only a short walk in to Pinhoe village with good access to Exeter by bus or train.

Room tip: Some rooms accessed by stairs - but staff very helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights. Very friendly staff and the Restaurant was excellent in catering for my Gluten Free needs plus a big car park is always a bonus. included breakfast which was Buffet style made it good value for money.
One drawback was that its at the end of a country lane so be aware.

The place is filthy. Dead bugs all over the place from sills to ceiling especially in the dining area and is just not up to modern day standards. The décor is tired and in need of refurb - the furniture was relatively modern but didn't hide the underlying problems - the main areas have nice wallpaper just a pity it was put up by amateurs. Cleanliness is a problem here the advertising shows beautiful managed gardens - the dirty windows hide the truth. If this hotel is to compete with the chain hotels built just around the corner then it needs to focus on customer retention - currently this place is a crisis waiting to happen.

Room tip: The good part - breakfast is well cooked and presented buffet style. The staff a friendly and attentive.

Nice comfortable clean hotel. Good food. Yes, It could do with a little updating, but for a short stop and less than £80/night including breakfast feels very good value. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Stayed here a week ago and have given the hotel 2 opportunities to respond to me regarding issues around our stay - nothing.

When we parked I thought we were in the wrong place - photos nothing like the student looking accommodation building that we were presented with.
Went to check in and were presented with an awful smell of old people’s homes.
Went to the coach house to our room - bed looked like the smallest double ever, sat on it and it squeaked badly.
When we went to bed, every time one of us moved the mattress noise was terrible, it was lumpy and a spring pinged at one point.
Sink taps - both said Hot!
Plugged my phone in overnight to find it at 2% in the morning, checked the socket with another plug and it didn’t work, so socket broken.
Heater in room, but no fan after being told there would be.

Breakfast very greasy , again hit by awful smell when went into the building, fortunately wasnt in dining room though.

Couldn’t wait to check out, had a very long drive the following day which. Was made longer due to the number of times I had to stop after having such a very limited amount of sleep.

Explained all to the lovely lady on the reception desk, who said comments would be passed to management, and having sent two emails describing unpleasant stay have still not heard anything back.
