I came across this little café when looking for somewhere to eat lunch during my exploration of Dartmouth. Their motto is 'where its homemade and local with style and a smile' and this is spot on. The friendliness felt absolutely genuine, my quiche and salad was delicious, they have an alcohol licence so I could indulge in a cider, and the outdoor tables add to the informal atmosphere. I shall have to come back for their famous cream tea, though.

We wanted a traditional Devon Cream Tea and checked on Google to find where to find the best Dartmouth has to offer. We'd walked passed Dart to Mouth on a couple of occasions and to be honest it didn't look appealing.

Anyway, the good reviews convinced us to give it a go and I'm so glad that we did. The tea arrived and it way amazing. Scones were beautifully fresh, crisp on the outside, soft in the centre and still warm, lashings of jam and clotted cream and a big pot of tea.

This Café is tucked away in a small market square which you may miss or walk by....it's well worth a visit for lunch or a coffee & cake!

We have had several lunches & many coffees here.....the owner & staff are so friendly & welcoming.

We have had quiches, sandwiches, cakes, cream teas & my new discovery a sausage roll with caramelised onion.....you have to try one!

And it's great value for money!

Make sure you walk past the Costa shop on your left & 30 seconds later you will be at your destination and by the way their coffee is better than the aforementioned!

Enjoy.

Stumbled on this cafe when wandering around the backstreets of Dartmouth. Had quite simply the best cream tea we've ever had. Soft fruity scone, lashings of clotted cream and thick fruity jam. Heart attack on a plate but gorgeous. Served with a smile as well. Delicious

Lovely cafe with outside seating and a lovely selection of quiches/pies/baguettes and sweet treats.
Serve great coffees and a good selection on wine and prosecco!
