Really nice pub atmosphere and good food too. Reservations may be necessary - we were lucky and they could fit us in for dinner. The garlic ciabatta with cheese was a great starter. I had the kids meal sausages, my husband had the fish and chips and our daughter had the burger. All were good sized portions. Staff was very friendly. Had quite a few draught beer and ciders to choose from. Didn’t had dessert but they sounded yummy. Would recommend.

There was 6 of us booked into the Seven Stars for dinner on a Saturday evening during the music festival. The pub was full and had a great atmosphere.

The staff, and especially the manager, could not do enough for us. The service was exceptional. The food was very good too. The mussels were the best I've tasted and I can highly recommend them, i fact all the food was tasty and well presented. This will definitely be one of our go to places during our regular trips to Dartmouth.

Had lunch with friends for second day in a row at this historic pub. Place is cozy and friendly. Food is fabulous — try the mussels, steak burger, and large entree salads. Good local ale selection plus the usual cast of characters on the CO2 taps.
Rest rooms are spotless!

So good we have to go twice, the Seven Stars is a real pub with fabulous food and drink, the mussels we were served on both nights were the best we have ever tasted (better than Brittany, Belgium etc) Other food great too! Staff very attentive, helpful and hard working especially in the upstairs dining room which was open Saturday but not Sunday, we ate in the bar which was perfect. Highly recommended and good value too.
