We arrived at the hotel early as we were wanting to look around . We went into the reception area where the lady checked us in and gave us our car parking pass .
When arriving back to the Hotel in the afternoon we were given our room key and told where our room was situated and nothing else - we weren't told breakfast times, check out time or anything about the hotel itself.
The room was lovely with lovely views of the river and a comfortable bed- we were surprised that there was no way of locking the door from the inside or even a chain for security, and the bathroom could do with a
upgrade as the bath tiles were cracked and so was the bath panel.
The staff at breakfast service were accommodating and didn't keep you waiting to order coffee and toast, unfortunately the cooked breakfast was very disappointing, for a full English breakfast you only get one of each item and the hash brown and fried bread were rock hard and inedible.
The hotel itself is lovely and is in a perfect situation, it's just the little things that would have improved our stay.

First visited 20 years ago.How different it is now!!. Fully refurbished to a very high standard.FREE easy parking. As you would expect it is all very modern and kept extreamley clean. We had a front balcony room in the new section.it had a massive very comfortable bed,the bathroom was as good as any DUBAI!!! inc lovely freestanding bath and large walk in shower. The staff were all most pleasant polite and very well trained .The river room resturant is well laid out!! Unfortunatley the evening menu was a big let down!!! the same one daily apart from the specials only3 coures and coffee@£3 extra each? For £445 a night i would expect that to be inc Cannot understand how so called CHEFS can keep running out of food inc PORK CHOPS AND FISH and have a thing about serving VEGETABLES???? TOP TIP Book B&B only THE BREAKFASTS are GREAT.

Room Tip: ask for room on front with balcony { beware not cheap]

This hotel overlooking the bustling Dart river has been recently refurbished and the deluxe rooms are fabulous. Each has a spacious balcony from which to watch the comings and goings on the river. There is a spa next door and the restaurant and bar areas are attractive - food is also very good and staff are very helpful.

I couldn't have asked much more from this hotel. As it was the great British Summer, I booked a Deluxe room with a balcony, and I was so glad I did! The weather was grotty at points, but I was able to sit outside and watch the squall pass whilst in complete comfort. There was even a sun lounger and blankets to stay cosy.

Brilliant touches with lighting such as one switch that operated all of the lamps / ambient lighting and moveable reading spot lights and a really luxurious bathroom with Elmis products.

I really couldn't fault the hotel. Breakfast on the balcony was a highlight, being able to sit in the morning sun watching the river traffic.

I stayed for 2 nights and it really felt like a holiday. Very relaxing indeed.

We have just returned from the Dart Marina hotel. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, lovely breakfast and service. Would highly recommend. The location is perfect. Within 5 minutes walk of the town centre so we didn't need to use the car at all.
