Booked for a post BRNC Graduation Meal for a large party, Kendricks was low key, accommodating and efficient. the Menu and specials board offered a full range of quick eats but good quality - the burger was fab. Nice selection of local beer and good wine prices made for an excellent evening - thank you

Delicious , very generous portioned food . Have to book as very popular.
When we arrived we were given very warm welcome by friendly staff. Taken to table and whilst deciding from the menu we were given free nachos and salsa and a jug of iced water . Very nice touch .
Food was delicious , ambience very warm and relaxed . Highly recommended

Thank Jules F

We had prawns to start, fab. The food was hot and very tasty. The atmosphere was good and everyone seemed to be enjoying the restaurant. Not too pricey

Went for grand-daughter's 17th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. As somebody has already said, the restaurant fairly buzzes so if you want a quieter experience, or like me, find it hard to hear what people are saying when there's a lot of background noise, book a table upstairs as there are windows you can open in hot weather.

My husband and I both had Confit of Duck on Dauphinoise potatoes which was SO good! Two people had the ribs which were very meaty and tasty indeed judging from their reactions, one person had a pasta dish which we enjoyed and our grand-daughter had her usual steak, done the blue side of rare, which she's always had, and said it was 'lush'.

The young staff there are lovely too - nothing too much trouble for them- real service with a smile. They have obviously been well trained.

The other reason for me choosing upstairs is that because I have arthritis, going up and down the stairs more than once each way is hard, so as the loos are on that floor too it makes life easier, as I only have to negotiate them once up and once down. The ladies' loo also has a wonderful stained glass window in it which is worth a look. Not sure how old it is, but it looks Art Nouveau-ish.

All in all, well worth a visit and they're good at catering for large parties too, with plenty of notice.

Great place. Great food. Great staff. Great service. Get a prawn cocktail soon, before they use up all the prawns in the sea. No, it's not a small salad with a few prawns on top, it's a prawnfest!! The ribs are just superb.
