Great for a walk (it skirts the South West Coast Path), picnic by the sea, beach games etc. Has it's own surf school and restaurants

Another beautiful St Ives beach. Again handy to shops, cafes, pubs.
Have a coffee at the cafe on the beach and watch the surfers, hardy souls.

As with all St Ives beaches Porthmeor Beach has its hidden gems. Lovely walk or splashing around or looking for something a bit fishy seashell or the like all waters of St Ives look clean n clear with surrounding rock formations.

A lovely beach, with fine, golden sand. It is deserted in winter. I spent hours here listening to the sea... a truly calming place. At low tide you can walk right round both beaches and up the harbour steps, but beware the streams which are deeper than they look!
