This is a very pretty little beach , was very busy as you would expect in August. Mainly all surf boards/body boards in the sea tho and could be dangerous for those without boards.

Although it;s the furthest beach from where we are staying, we always wander along to Porthmeor because its different form the others, lots of surf activity, bigger breakers & a change of aspect of The Island. The sand is soft & lovely too

Clean, shallow shelf beach, bit storey at high tide but all much in to create a sand path to the sea. Great for sandcastles. Both cafes good. West beach great for lunch away from crowds. Highly recommended.
