A repeated diner! Love the food, the wine, the service and the venue. Having been to the restaurant several times now I am always amazed at the quality of the food and the delicious flavours that Nathan is able to produce. From the greeting of Stefi and staff and the sommelier, Damon, pairing wines brilliantly, it is a fabulous dining experience. Loved the raw scallops and the turbot, but every thing was excellent. The wine pairing I liked most was the La Masia chardonnay with the salt cod. Thanks to the Outlaw team for making it so enjoyable.

We had lunch here and it may have been the most expensive ever (and we have lunched at Heston Blumenthal's in London and Per Se in NYC). It was twice the price of lunch at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. So is it worth the money?

The food is beautifully presented and there is attention to colour, arrangement, texture and flavour. The service is attentive and informative without being fussy. The wine list is well balanced and even interesting at times. The location is potentially spectacular but the day was grey and misty so we did not get full advantage. My only real criticism is that the dining area is a little noisy and not very interesting if you are not looking out the window.

Overall, it is a great dining experience and one to enjoy if you have deep pockets.

The food exceptionally good. Our favourite was the salt cod and lobster scampi but it was all great. The service is friendly and efficient.

One of the best places i have eaten at

Staying in Cornwall for a weeks holiday , so we booked a table at Nathan Outlaws restaurant, we were seated at the kitchen bar which was perfect, only two other couples, whereas the restaurant upstairs was very full and noisy, we could see into the kitchen, and much to our excitement Nathan was cooking in the kitchen. We felt it was a lot more intimate at the kitchen bar . We were made to feel very special, by our personal waitress.
The taster menu was amazing, I thought I would leave feeling hungry but after the 3rd course I began to feel very full.
My husband had the wine flyte, which he really enjoyed , especially the explanation re: each bottle eg where it was from How it was made and what it was made with.
To make the evening extra special, Nathan came out and chatted with us a couple of times, we had a photo with him and he signed our personal menu.
Not a cheap evening, but it was oh so worth it .

We had a lengthy lunch here, you have to have the tasting menu which is all seafood so be warned but we loved it. The wine flight looks good but is expensive so we went for a bottle to share. Every one of the courses was fantastic, it's unusual to have an exclusive fish tasting menu, except for dessert. My favourite was the Turbot with grilled hazelnuts on top but the salted cod was a close second. Even the bread was tasty and they kept filling the basket when we'd used it to mop up the juices. The view across the bay, even on a slightly misty day was beautiful and the people jostling for spaces in the car park added to our enjoyment. The final bonus was Nathan coming out to speak to us as we asked if we could thank him for the food :)
