Came for lunch today with my partner and his gran. We had fish and chips she had a pork roast. Very generous portions and delicious. Service very friendly, the place was buzzing!. Can’t wait to come back and try the veggie roast.

On our first visit for lunch this year (we have visited in previous years) we had the hake with crab butter and vegetables. It was so delicious, we had to go back again a few days later for more. I begged for the recipe, but to no avail. Puddings were also delicious. The setting is lovely, staff helpful and efficient. I have a request: please could you do a recipe book and please make it very soon?!

We went for lunch last Sunday. We both had the pork which was tender, plentiful & the long piece of crackling sensational! There was also plenty of tasty gravy. The desserts were also delicious. Service was polite, pleasant & efficient. We were well impressed & will definetly be back!! Many thanks for an exceedingly excellent lunch

A 70th birthday party. The food was fab (esp the canapés) and the service throughout the evening was excellent. Would recommend for private hire.
