Fresh and locally sourced food. Need to book a table as it gets very busy. Good and friendly service. Drinks reasonably priced and food very good value for money

Been here many times, but never reviewed before, Not sure where to start, this place is amazing, and personally think it is one of the best places to eat in Penzance. I had booked a table and was glad that I did, as they were fully booked for food on a Monday night. The staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face. I opted for the fish pie, it came in its own dish, with salad leaves and warm crusty bread. The pie was crammed full of a good mixture of fish, with just enough potato and melted cheese on top, it was piping hot and very filling, sadly too full to have a dessert, but the pavlova looked amazing. Looking forward to my next visit already,

Had an evening meal at this pub in late June. Menu, service and food well up to standard. Meals a little on the dear side but I found that this part of the country is generally expensive when eating out. The pub has great ambiance and overall we had a very pleasant evening. Certainly I can recommend this establishment.

We went here for a drink one evening and went back for dinner the next day after seeing the food other people were eating.
We expected the usual standard of pub food but were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food that arrived.

The location is great, very close to the harbour with sea views from the right seats.
The staff members were really friendly and helpful, and the service was quick and efficient. The decor is pleasingly nautical.

Definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
