We stayed one night as Max had an early flight to London from Newquay airport the next day.
We drove from Hope Cove in Devon and unfortunately our GPS did not recognise the address, but we persevered in true British spirit and found the hotel.
We were greeted by friendly and professional staff.
Absolutely fabulous sea front position. Parking available on site. We booked a double room with sea views. Very large room with a King size bed. Table and chairs placed in the floor to ceiling window which gave us a lovely view of the sea from the bed also.
The room does not have air-conditioning and was quite hot. The windows can be opened which helped with the temp and was lovely to hear the sea.
The bathroom was huge with a full size bath in the middle of the room and a great walk in shower. Just wish they had fridges in the room for fresh milk and to keep the wine chilled. An ice bucket with ice was retrieved from the bar.
I dropped the back of my earing and when we moved the bed we found fake rose petals under the bed. Left over's from a romantic tryst? Other than rose petals the room was very clean.
Whilst a walk into Newquay is not impossible, I would catch a taxi.More
