House was beautiful, clean and spacious- it was so nice to not be crowded in a hotel room for a whole week. Gaye welcomed us with scones, jam and cream! The WIFI and satellite TV worked perfectly and we enjoyed them daily. Having the washer and dryer on hand helped us pack less for the two week trip. The house is four levels up from the shop level of Falmouth but Gaye told us how to get around this by walking down the nearby steps and getting a cab back up. This is easy, fast and inexpensive. My Dad (who smokes) really enjoyed having the little garden area to hang out in. Having the Sea View Inn two doors down was wonderfully convenient. While parking was challenging, we still managed to find parking spots right near the house after our daily excursions.During our week in Cornwall, we visited the Maritime Museum, St Michaels Mount, Bodmin Railway, St Mawes Castle, Pendennis Castle, Cape Cornwall Area and Poldark Mine. Falmouth makes a great base from which to explore the county. Fantastic trip!
Fantastic property. Very well equipped with everything you would expect and a lot more besides. Property is very close to centre of Falmouth for shops, eateries, ferry to St Mawes etc. Owner very helpful. Lots to do in local area and we easily filled a week with two young children with variable weather. Would recommend.

Gaye was an extremely lovely person, helpful but not intrusive. The house was beautifully decorated with some outstanding contemporary artwork. As far as we could see everything we could require was available in the house plus more. First visit to Falmouth for many years. This time our children and partners, not forgetting our beautiful one year old grandson came too. All my paternal ancestors came from Cornwall. My husband and I have spent many holidays based in Falmouth, some with my late parents. My father was brought up in Falmouth and moved to Scotland after the War when he married his wartime sweetheart. We were only down for a week but visited the Maritime Museum in Events Square and had many dinners in a variety of good restaurants. We also payed visits to the Eden Project, Durgan, Truro Cathedral and spent a day in St. Ives. Altogether a wonderful time was had by all and the ultra comfortable home from home was a bonus.
We have stayed here before, and would book it again. Very high standard of comfort and cleanliness which has been maintained. Great location to explore South West Cornwall
