It is a small, comfortable restaurant with pleasant service from the lady owner. Had the seafood paella, it was a good meal although i found the squid content not to my taste which was a shame.
The lady owner really helpful when i realised i had left something important in the taxi that brought me there.
This restaurant doesn't accept payment by card, so bring enough cash along.

We booked the seafood platter the day before when we booked a table - they like to know in advance if you want this. It was very good, crab, oysters, king prawns, mussels, prawns, served with garlic mayo on the side and fresh bread.
Atmosphere a little old-fashioned but cosy!

It was very quiet the night when we were in but the owner took good care of us. It's a small intimate place you can quite easily miss as it's down some steps along a side street - opposite the burrito place which is easier to see from the main road.

The food was good. More home style than fancy chefy but very tasty.

All in all an enjoyable night. I do think they need to update the place a little though. There is some obvious damp and it looks a little dated. However, when they do renovate I hope they keep it's homely charm.

The Seafood Bar is a fabulous small intimate restaurant in Quay Street Falmouth which is close to the centre of town. The interior is cosy and decorated with ocean and fish themed decor. The owner Kerri is very welcoming and is part chef as well as waiting at tables. The menu is limited and changes daily which is a good sign that in season local fish is being used. We had delicious meal of crab soup and fish pancakes to start then for mains, megrim sole, hake served with tomato and chick peas and squid all cooked to perfection. The bill was very reasonable especially as we had also enjoyed a very decent bottle of wine. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit.
