The staff at Pendennis are lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful unfortunately the food is awful and the coffee is very poor. Views are insane and the buildings are done well. Would strongly recommend but maybe take a flask and picnic. Will wonder back sometime.

We have been here before, it was ok the first time however now the kids are older (3 & 6) it was even better. The easter tudor event was brilliant, tbe firing of the guns really good too. The first world war exhibition would benefit from being a bit bigger but was still good. The only downside the cafe - i queued for 10 minutes for some teas and some food but gave up after the que barely moved, the staff were working hard there simply wasn't enough of them. That didnt hamper our experience though - but saved us money :)

Highly recommended

If you’re not a member of English Heritage, it is expensive, but a good way to spend a couple of hours with young children. Good views from the castle and nice to walk back via the beach.
