My wife and I stayed one night. Staff are really excellent starting with Emily checking us in and throughout our stay every single staff member went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Accommodation though small was charming and comfortable though some of the stairs may possibly be a challenge to someone with a disability . The dinner was superb and could not fault the quality. Excellent breakfast. Overall a friendly relaxing experience. One tip though (and nothing to do with the establishment itself) is beware of slavishly following sat nav. The route it brought us in on was excitingly narrow! Really enjoyed our stay and well done to the owners in creating such a welcome.

Thanks for coming. As for sat nav please just follow the road signs to Constantine then you can rely on your sat nav once you reach the village. Booking direct will always get you a better deal.

We all really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch today (2 adults and 5 & 2 year olds - half portion roasts for kids) We had pork and all the trimmings, it was very tasty! Roast potatoes were huge and perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy soft in the middle! You get a load of gravy and a healthy amount of veggies and a whopper of a Yorkshire pudding! Highly recommend! The drive to the pub is quite magical and the grounds are stunning too! Bit off the beat and track, but we'll worth it!

A good selection of starters and mains alongside a roast lunch option . A good selection of Ales and ciders and wine cellar . Good to see traditional fare on the menu, pigeon and rabbit. No table service And we almost melted in the conservatory during the humid weather , but over all good value for money . The children enjoyed the woodland walk and zip wire to keep them entertained throughout our time at this pub .

Stayed with work. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location, and the staff/owners are very friendly/helpful.

Downside is it is rather old and faded... The breakfast, tasty as it was has apparently won an award... 8yrs ago. The rooms are in need of a refresh and for somewhere that has zero phone reception could do with offering Wi-Fi!

We have Wifi in some rooms which we try and make as obvious as possible but nobody reads the details anymore when they book.
We have lots of lovely brand new refurbished rooms and 2 more will be compleated this Winter.
We got a silver award with Taste of west last year.
We are a country pub tucked away at the bottom of a wooded valley surrounded by organic farms so it is teaming with wildlife.
If you are looking for somewhere with great connection to the outside world we are not the place to book.

Stayed here two times in the past 6 weeks. Once on my own and once with my wife and dog. Only discovered by accident. Nice rooms, very reasonable price for Cornwall. Bar and food are excellent and so was breakfast. The grounds are good for the dog and I would recommend the room with the goat! Will be back again next time work takes me to the area.
