We spent 3 days here over the Easter weekend, on two nights we ate in the restaurant and the food was superb, The menu is interesting , the dishes tasty and mouth watering to look at.
Our room was billed as compact (a cabin room) but was spacious enough for us, It was furnished well and the bed very comfy. Little touches like the water and shortbread biscuits were an added bonus. The bathroom was good but the shower unfortunately, had a mind of its own. Luxury toiletries were great.
Public areas were imaginatively decorated and the bar a good place to nurse a nightcap.
The staff definitely made our visit feel special, everyone we met....cleaning staff, handyman, waitresses, restaurant manager, were all committed to providing a superb customer service. In fact we were only booked in for 2 nights but managed to add on a third at the last minute.
A wonderful break in a fab hotel situated in an enviable position. Even the weather was better than expected.

We were unfortunately only able to fit in a one stay here after a family wedding elsewhere in Cornwall so wished it could have been more. We were given a room in the new(ish) Beach House with a sea view the rooms are beautifully designed, stylish and well appointed fairly compact but not tight. its all very clean, the staff helpful and polite. the food in the restaurant is very good tasteful and well presented the breakfast is buffet serve yourself all decent quality and hot tho I found some of the elements swimming in cooking oil if you were picking them after they'd been out awhile and needed replenishing. there is building work going on and is gonna last a good few months yet but it didn't make any obtrusive noise tho does take the edge off the view a bit. Overall a really good package for the price we got when the building is finished it will be really excellent.

My daughter and I visited the Flying Fish restaurant on Easter Monday in search of lamb! A lovely welcome, an exciting menu and beautiful food. We enjoyed their Pinotage, the braised lamb main was spectacular, smoked trout amuse bouche remarkably clever, very creamy uWye Valley asparagus rissoto starter, which may have been grown just behind my salmon beat(!) and the most inventive rhubarb and custard dessert I have ever enjoyed under such a simple title! Beautiful blending of flavours made every dish fascinating. Outstanding and very reasonably priced.

Mum and I visited this hotel for 2 nights.
Loved every minute. Lovely clean modern rooms. Staff and service was outstanding.
Spa was great with steam, sauna and a big heated pool.
2 minute walk to the beach.
We will definite be back to stay again in the summer.

Hotel still being redeveloped but no noise at the weekend. We had a basic room, comfortable and adequate but were disturbed by noisy guests through the thin walls. Flying fish restaurant faultless. Great menu, well served by staff with endless care, thought and attention to detail. Parking a bit of a challenge.
