4 friends arrived lunch time Sunday 16th Sept 2018. As check in was from 3pm rooms were not ready so left luggage and went to enjoy the delights of Chester. As she was on her way home, we bumped into Heidi from the hotel reception, who was overjoyed to see us as she had been worrying that we had not returned to the hotel. She advised that our bags were in our room and she would see us the next morning. She phoned the night reception to say she had seen us and we were fine and would be at the hotel shortly. Breakfast was fab and we met Nicola the owner if the hotel who showed us the apartment within the hotel that sleeps 8. Will be back with a bigger group of friends and wish Nicola and her team every success.

The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Car park was £12 but we were allowed to leave the car there until 3pm the next day.
Breakfast was fine but limited if you don't eat cooked.
Our room was in the annex, although the room was fine and comfortable it was quite noisy. Our room was ground floor next to the entrance and we were woken frequently by the door slamming shut. My problem was not with the hotel but the inconsiderate actions of other guests. As it was a warm night we slept with our window slightly open, regardless of that guests thought it was ok to stand outside our window talking loudly and smoking at 2am, the smell of which filled the room. I haven't got a problem with smokers and the hotel does have a notice outside asking people not to smoke there, I guess some people have no consideration for others.
Overall, based on the noise I probably will try somewhere else when in Chester next time.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff were always polite and helpful. Everyone loved our English Fox Terrier, Tilly. We dined in-house on Wednesday evening (a bring your own wine evening) and the food was 1st class. One tiny niggle. Wi-Fi is non-existent in the Annexe. Couldn't get a connection for the two days we were there. In the main building it was quick and easy to access. On-site parking is limited (although it does say this on the website).

Room tip: If you need a good wi-fi signal don't stay in the annexe. Hopefully this may be rectified soon.

Stayed here for one night, hotel is situated in a very good place to access the shops and restaurants etc.
The rooms a very nice and we'll maintained.
I stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard and carpark.
I never got chance to use the bar but it did look very well stocked.
Breakfast was very good, which included continental and a menu to order from.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that would have been better if there was parking available, unfortunately it was due to limited spaces available.
That said you do get a discount using the multistorey car park around the corner of hotel.
