My wife and I have just got back from a short (4 day) break visiting Chester and birdwatching on the Dee Estuary. Our stay at Cotton Farm was an absolute delight.
It is located down a very quiet lane surrounded by pastures, yet is just 2 or 3 miles from an excellent Park and Ride system for Chester and close to the main roads/motorways for longer trips. Great for Chester, the Wirral and North Wales.
The house is gorgeous, the bedrooms are huge and well appointed (king size bed, sofa, large antique furntiure, dressing table + more) and the owners are warm, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Breakfast was marvellous.
If I had to make any criticisim, it would be that the shower in the bathroom was rather low, but this is a VERY minor criticism of a truly exceptional B&B.
