Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel accepts dogs and there is a nice little park across the road for walkies. Generous breakfast provision and great service. Guests with pets are usually given ground floor rooms - a bonus for anyone with mobility issues.

Me and my friend went shopping at cheshire oaks and got a cheap deal for this hotel off groupon. The room was clean and had two.single beds in. There was coffee, tea and a biscuit each in the room. The room was spacious and perfect for what we needed. There is a leisure club and you can use the facilities. We had a Jacuzzi and went in the steam room. There are towels there to use. Breakfast was included and there were cereals, muffins, fruit and yoghurt and then you can order a cooked breakfast and as much as you want of each item. Tea, coffee and orange juice was available too. Perfect to fill our tummy's before another day of shopping.

Room smelt of smoke, it was very cold on first night until everyone complained, blind and window broken, couldn’t use swimming pool as was hired by outside use always. Didn’t cater for vegetarians, no cleaning during stay.

Well located and serves good food, just need to polish up the dinner service menu and ensure staff are adequately trained. There are also some internal decorations to the rooms and common areas that need attention

Could be a nice hotel if they did some basic maintenance. Our initial stay was some months ago where we had a constant door banging. A lovely lady called Gemma got in touch and offered a complimentary stay. Gemma was really flexible and helpful in booking an alternative date.
Took a gamble and booked for my birthday .Sadly no different second time round I don't think there is a door that does not need oiling in the whole hotel.
Doors also need closers on them as they all bang shut if left and due to the catering of hen and stags consideration is not given to people trying to sleep.
We were given an ajoining room to 2 guys who liked to play death metal. .Others were smoking on the corridor but staff did not enforce their own no smoking policyby not challengeing despite being aware.
Pool area looked small but clean.
Food very basic choice. Lack of fresh fruit and choice of juice. Hot opticians were usual full cooked or an omelette. No substitutions for vegetarians unfortunately.

Room Tip: Earplugs are a must. Try to avoid ajoining rooms.
