We only stayed one night, but this hotel was perfect for our needs. It's situated backing onto a lovely green space but within 5 minutes' walk of the city centre and a convenient car park for overnight. We were met by a friendly reception team who took our luggage up to our room while we parked. The room was small-ish but big enough with good air-con. Everything stylish and spotless. We particularly appreciated having a fridge, real milk for the tea and coffee, a 4-way plug so there was somewhere to charge the devices and a long mirror. Would definitely stay again on any return trip to Cambridge.

The Regent Hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Cambridge on a busy, but pleasant street. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel, and walk from the front door to just about everywhere we wanted to go in Cambridge. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. They arranged cabs and punting tours on the River Cam, and dispensed accurate advice with friendly smiles. The rooms are comfortable, bright, cheery, and clean! The delicious breakfasts in a pretty dining room overlooking Parker's Piece was an added bonus. A nice experience and a good value.

Stayed in a small double which was fine for the two of us for three nights. Staff helpful throughout and proactive at offering what was available. Breakfast great selection and good coffee to order. Liked small fridge in room with chilled water, fresh milk. Arrived on hot day and room a/c was on and room comfortable. Advice from hotel on parking around the corner worked well for us.

Room Tip: Rooms over the park maybe a little quieter than those on the street.

My partner and I had a night away in Cambridge and this place was great. Very friendly staff, excellent location, nice and clean rooms. I original had it at 4 stars because it doesn’t have any parking and the closest is a little walk and adds another £20 or so to the price. A bit of a pain. But then they offered breakfast delivered to your room for free so I gave it 5 stars! I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and there’s always been a charge for that - it was a nice touch.

This boutique style hotel is wonderful. We only stayed for 1 night but wished it was more. We stayed on the third floor in one of the higher priced rooms, and considering the location of the hotel it was excellent value for money.

Our room had a nice coffee machine with pods, as well as kettle with around 8-9 different types of tea, plus biscuits. We also had a fridge with fresh milk and water stocked included in the price. The room was very clean and well designed and stylish. Nice bathroom and nice little balcony too. The room was quiet, and air con was welcome too and was also very quiet. The staff, were excellent even though you don’t see them around (which is good in a way) and kept the hotel very well.

Breakfast was plentiful, and I mean plentiful. The area itself is small, but then again the hotel is anyway, but it felt a nice size. Great selection of food, and all really nice.

The street it’s located is also very good in terms of restaurants, Tesco, Sainsbury etc all on your doorstep. The road is a little busy however noise wasn’t a problem.

There is no car park, but we knew that already, however there is a multi story car park just a few mins walk away which was fine. Car stayed there for our stay (22 hours) and was around £25. Not bad considering the central location.

I have stayed at countless hotels all over the world, and without a doubt this is one of the best! I can not fault a thing! We didn’t get to see so much of Cambridge as we would have liked to because of rain, so we will definitely come back here again and no doubt stay at this hotel once more, preferably for 2 nights this time.
