We travelled down to Bristol on 16.12.17. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 3.30 pm We approached reception and gave our details. We were given the key to our room and then we asked directions for the car park. You park in the Cabot Circus General Car Park, but your ticket is punched when you leave the hotel so you can secure your free parking.

The room we were allocated was on the second floor and a lift was available to take us to this floor. The room was warm when we arrived as the heating was on and it was very nice. The room contained two single beds, a wardrobe, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a telephone. After making ourselves comfortable we ordered a sandwich from the room service and this was received fairly quickly and very well presented and was reasonably priced. Upon leaving the hotel to go to our event, we asked the hotel to order us a taxi, which appeared very quickly and took us to our event.

Next morning we got up and made our way into the restaurant where were had breakfast, this was served as a buffet style with cereal, fruit juice, full English breakfast, toast, tea and coffee which was in plentiful stock and piping hot. Staff also were checking temperature and removing anything that had been there too long.

The only point I would raise is that the signage of the hotel is not very good coming in from the M32 angle. We drove past the hotel in the first instance but on re-tracing our steps we saw on the side wall facing the town centre "Futures Inn" was emblazoned on the wall, this should also be on the side coming from the M32 as you would drive past like we did.

Great hotel situated right in the city centre, but not noisy. Staff are always friendly and helpful and such a bonus having free parking. Cabots Circus is directly across the street too with plenty of shops and places to eat if you don't fancy eating at the hotel. Have stayed here several times and will continue to return as always enjoyable.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good with extremely comfy beds.

We booked a room with two double beds for 2 adults and 2 young children. The beds were very soft and comfy but I’d say the room overall was basic definitely not luxury as described. The carpets were marked and room in general was less than a premier inn which is where we normally stay when on mini trips. The staff were not as friendly but got the job done quickly.

This hotel is in a great location for the Cabot Circus shopping centre and cinema and easy to walk through for Broadmead. It is excellent too if you have a car as the cost includes free parking at the Cabot Circus Car Park (There is a designated area for the hotel so just ask one of the attendants. Then a short cut through a door and walkway to the hotel. Based on the north-east of town is easy to get away to other parts of the UK without too much traffic. The hotel is not clearly signed and we went round the centre a few times before we rang the hotel to ask. The reception staff were so helpful and gave us clear instructions and a different post code to the one on the address as the carpark is at the back of the hotel - there is also a press-button recording of how to park if you prefer that. We paid £68 for a king-sized bedded room. It was as you would expect with a safe, wardrobe, bath robe and slippers, television, hairdryer, ironing and coffee-making facilities. A lovely bathroom with hot shower and clean towels and toiletries. At reception free coffee and mince pies during the Christmas season was a nice touch with. The rooms were surprisingly quiet even though it was in the centre of town. The only nit-pick is that the bedside lamps are part of the main lighting and do not operate individually for reading, take a torch.

Room Tip: The staff cannot do enough for you, so do talk over any concerns you may have with regard to booking a room and your requirements.
