8 of us ate here, on a Sunday evening, from 3 generations. Children under 10 or 150cms eat at reduced rate and toddlers also can pay a small amount. There are many dishes to choose from and you are allotted 1hr. 45 minutes slot in which to have your meal although you may be given only 1.30 if they are very busy! There is sushi, starters, Indian, Chinese, dim sum, Italian, seafood, noodle bar, Asian carvery and puddings. You can have salmon, squid or beef cooked individually for you as you watch. Most of the food is fresh and tasty but some looks a little dried up. It is all in hot serving dishes waiting for you to choose so you can eat as much or as varied platefuls as you like. You leave your dirty plate on the table and these are collected regularly whilst you go to the serveries to choose your next course. Prices range from £13.50 (and £6.50 for children) to £14.99 at weekends or £7.50 for lunch and £8.99 on Saturdays. There is ice cream with many sprinkles for children and profiteroles and tiny cakes and pastries for adults. It was clean and tidy, staff were polite and served well. They went to find out about decaffeinated coffee when I could not find it on the menu and made it fresh. The website is very glossy but difficult to find prices. If you want to seat more than 11 you may have to have 2 adjacent tables. Overall enjoyable, but go when it is slightly quieter as many people are moving about choosing food at the serveries with hot plates and food.

Came here for a meal with friends. We had an enjoyable night. Great selection of starters and mains. The desserts were a bit of a disappointment. Not much to choose from. You get unlimited soft drinks which is a bonus too. The only criticism I can give is that staff are too eager to clear away your plates. We were all still eating and were asked if we had finished! Other than that, it was great.

Have been here several times now.
Excellent choices of dishes , always very tasty and well cooked.
Good value for money , fantastic for kids as they can try things without wasting your money .
Staff not exactly that friendly but mainly as they are busy and efficient , definitely not rude in any way .
Will keep visiting as the kids would moan if we didn't !!

I wanted to express my disappointment regarding a recent visit to your restaurant in Bristol. Having previously eaten in your restaurant to which I was delighted with the quality of service. I was appalled with the overall experience at lunchtime. To start with, upon arrival (approx. 1410) we were greeted by the reluctant waitress who informed us that the chefs had stopped cooking and the lunch service would end within half an hour. She kindly invited us to look around first but stated the food once gone would not be replenished despite there being fifty minutes left according to your opening hours. With this in mind we accepted and went back to the waitress to be seated who ignored us for a further five minutes whist she finished a phone conversation, reducing our time limit further. When we were eventually seated we explored the remaining buffet, however when we arrived back at our seat it seemed the waitress was more interested in clearing up and finishing her shift, and we even had to prompt her to request a drink. The mediocre food we did get from the buffet was served on a cracked plate which is not suitable for a family restaurant. Within 5 minutes of starting our meal we were rudely interrupted to pay the bill, reluctantly we did so, by which point we were already seriously discontented. When we went up to get some more food we were shocked to find that the little remaining food was already gone as all of the restaurant staff were helping themselves despite customers still wanting to eat. All of this, I add, was before 1500. The desserts had already been cleared so the ‘all you can eat’ nature the restaurant boasts was non-existent. Not surprisingly we left before the time restriction, utterly underwhelmed and in no mind to return in future.
I would definitely not recommend this restaurant, considering both the food and the service. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a similar style of restaurant, Zaza Bazaar in the habourside is comparatively superior in all aspects.

excellent selection of food and provided you select something which has just been put out everything is hot and good but be wary of some food that looked dried out and off colour
