Well worth a visit to what has now become the largest winery group in New Zealand...but it does not feel like that. The lady serving was very helpful, delightful sense of humour and very happy for you to taste the full range of wines on offer. You can also pick up some other wines out of the Hardy's stable if you so wish. Not far from Auckland so easy to get to.

OK...maybe we are biased being a tour operator and visit the Nobilo winery on our west Auckland Eco-tour. But it is due to the fact that this winery is one of the Kumeu's original wineries, that we visit there. Not only do individuals not pay for a wine-tasting, but the staff have excellent knowledge about their product. The winery has a true cellar ambience if compared with many of the more modern wineries of the Kumeu region. Even though Nobilo's is now part of the Constellation Group (an American owned company), this has not affected the seller staff and their hospitality to their customers.
And our favourite wine??...Kim Crawford Viognier...creamy and full of flavour! (But get Irene or Julie to run you through their selection).
