What a lovely little shop! Edward & Vintage is tiny but has a huge selection of traditional sweets, fudge and ice cream. There’s even jars of dog treats which we took advantage of before enjoying a rest and a munch in the little garden. Super popular and a friendly shopkeeper, all in a perfect village setting.

We visited the sweet shop last year while stopping at Ashbourne Heights, and we walked up to Tissington just to go to the sweet shop again while on holiday at Ashbourne Heights this year. There are so many different sweets on show and it feels like a "proper old fashioned confectioners".

This is a fab little shop, perfect to reminisce about sweets as they used to be! You can't help but be charmed and we have spent most of the afternoon trying the variety of sweets we bought and remembering how much we used to enjoy them. The staff are very friendly and happy to engage in conversation about the array of sweets they have. Will definitely visit again and is worth a special trip to tissington

Visited this gem of the Peak District again, we have been visiting for 9 years, David always makes us so welcome, we have become good friends as well as customers. The choice and service is exceptional. We always have a long list from the family to stock up on their favourites, nothing is too much trouble. We try and visit on quieter days as the shop always has a steady stream of customers, but each one is served with the same personal service. David and his small team are another reason for visiting one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Offering a huge range of sweets, fudge and ice cream too. Keep the step back in time alive.

Thank you! It was lovely to see you both as always, but do remember your camera next time so I can enjoy pictures of your growing grandson! I hope you have managed to make the best of the poor weather. Lots of love to the family. Dave x
