We tried the restaurant because of high ratings on Yelp and Trip Advisor. A big disappointment. We sat on the porch as it was a nice night. Traffic noise and smell of fumes caused us to move inside before we were served.

We ordered the Caesar Salad for starters, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese . Salad well presented, flavor just OK. Crab cakes not great. Macaroni and cheese very tasty. BUT it took 2 hours for us to be served these 2 courses. The restaurant had 2 other tables occupied when we initially ordered, but did fill up to about half full after 2 hours. So I service wasn't slow due to a crowd. Then We ordered dessert...this was our fatal error. After 40 minutes wait, we found our waitress and asked for the bill , forget dessert.

The Caesar's salad is out of this world - they put a drizzle of reduced balsamic vinegar and it makes all the difference in the world. The mac and cheese with prosciutto is to die for. Rich and creamy.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. Don't be intimidated by it being French if you don't speak the language. An English menu is supplied and the staff are fluent in English. The food was superb.

We walked to this restaurant from our bnb on the recommendation of our innkeeper. We did not have reservations, but could sit outside. We gladly accepted! Our server spoke flawless English (as well as his native French), and was helpful and accommodating. My grilled vegetable sandwich was as ordered without the mustard, and my husband's chicken Caesar salad was plentiful and delicious. Even though our order was small at dinner time, our server treated us respectfully. He earned a nice tip!
