I was looking forward to their table d'hote menu and was not disappointed by the food. Basic (perhaps too basic salad, followed by seared foie gras and excellent rabbit (my wife had the squab, also delicious). It was byob, which in my mind is a plus. The only complaint was the server (and co-owner) seemed to be in a sour mood and was largely uncommunicative. Might return for the food but not the company.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. It is a tiny place with soft jazz and classical music playing. The owners of the auberge are also the chef and wait staff. My husband's rabbit was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My skewers of shrimp and scallops on quinoa with vegetables was delightful. Our desserts, a dark chocolate cake, was luscious. This is a BYOB restaurant, and consequently, a multi-course meal was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed this far more than a more luxurious and pricy competitor in North Hatley.

A diner turning very bad because of the service. The waitress was in a terrible mood and wearing flip flip in this expensive restaurant... Terible...

Well we wanted to go on Friday evening but was booked reservations from 6-8pm no wonder they were booked out just amazing.

We had to start carrot orange and ginger soup which was wow, then we had foie gras which was extra but really good served with chutney then tuna carpaccio with wasabi and pineapple coriander which was just amazing and fresh the main l had guinea fowl which was even more amazing my partner took the elk which was just as nice then we had a 3 chocolate creme brûlée which finished the dinner off very well.

It's a B.Y.O.B but a great well worth the visit and the trip staff super friendly and warm.

Would recommend to anyone.

Bring your best bottle of wine and expect a real treat from a many choices 4 courses meal ! everything exquisitely prepared and served in a very nice homey room with a warm fire place. the restaurant is run by the chef-owner and his wife provides the service. Everything is home made and cooked to perfection all for a fixed price which is amazingly reasonable!
