We stayed at this hotel on the way home from Ontario. The rooms were clean they did feel tired and old, the pool had a strange color to it but I think it may be the water color of the area as the hot tub was the same color. Check in was fast and easy was really busy. It could use a lot of updating very expensive for a 2.5 star hotel but you pay for the convenience this hotel is right of the highway. I would not stay for more than one night. Breakfast was pretty good.

We needed a place with 3 rooms, enough to accommodate 2 families of 5 and a couple. The previous reviews caused me some concern, with cause. This is not up to the regular Travelodge standards.

When we first checked in, we were to have 2 queen beds and a cot. Even though having the info on our reservation it was not done. They made acceptable accommodations, but it required our family of 5 dragging our luggage up 2 floors. There are no elevators.

The room and halls smelled very musty. The rugs in the halls had bleached out splotches. After checking for bed bugs (there were none), and looking through the room, I have to say it seemed clean. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable as were the pillows.

Breakfast was decent. Coffee was good. The selection was varied, allowing for everyone to have a good meal to start the day off. My suggestion for improvement would be not to have the warm sliced deli type ham, and to serve bacon or sausages.

Staff were friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately, unless there are major renos, I don't think we will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for main floor, especially if you have mobility issues.

Bed was clean & comfortable & breakfast was reasonable but about 100 degrees, plastic utensils & cardboard plates. Room pass cards had to to be reprogrammed three times, outside, inside & bathroom doors all stuck opening, bathroom floor had hair on floor, no shampoo, one small 2x2x1/4” piece of soap for 3 adults, light & fan switch was outside bathroom should have been inside so when using during night you should be able to turn on bathroom light without flooding the room with light (i.e. should be able to close door, THEN turn light on) no nightlight in bathroom, lightbulb missing, & for being only $9 cheaper than five star property the value was poor, heard loud noise guests above, mirror position outside bathroom door allowed sight line into bathroom by other guests

Travelling from Ontario to Nova Scotia during August and stopped for one night in Edmundston. The Travelodge location on the north end of the city was easy to access off the trans-canada highway, had clean rooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities worked as expected. The hotel is pet friendly and we had no issues having our dog accompany us. The restaurant located adjacent to the hotel provided good food options which allowed us to relax and not have to go out and search for dinner which was a plus having been on the road all day.

Room Tip: book an easy access drive up room if you are travelling with a pet

Very dated facility, with way too high room rates. Room and entrance to room in disrepair. Would gladly travel on through to smaller towns in NB with newer hotels, better value for your dollar, better stay, less worries. Not at all a Vacation experience.
