Of all the b&b that we stayed at during our road trip...This was the best by far and a couple of them were pretty nice as well. Lovely hosts, fantastic food, that real old charming bedroom feel with all the comforts and chocolate! The bed was so big and comfy I could barely see my husband lol. Oh and did I mention the food? :) So glad we stayed here. Will go back to the area just for the bed and breakfast! Thanks so much for a great stay!

This is a lovely tudor style home that looks older than it is (built in the 1960's). The house is nestled among tall trees and a beautifully landscaped garden. Three of us stayed in a suite above the garage, separate from the house. It was comfortable and quiet. We had an outstanding breakfast with several courses all served on Blue willow china.
My only criticism would be the lack of coffee for early risers. Breakfast is served at 830am but I am usually awake well before that. I would have loved a mug of coffee in the garden. Many B&B's have a coffee pot set up on the dining room buffet filled the night before so the first guest up can turn it on. That would have made our stay perfect. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed after a few days away camping and were treated so warmly and given such a fantastic welcome here. The hosts were simply lovely and it felt like we were staying with a friends mum, they were so kind. Breakfast was fantastic (best pancakes we had in Canada), garden lovely to relax in, and the hosts could not have been kinder. Thank you.

What a delightful place! The owner, Max, is friendly, helpful and fascinating to talk with about the house and the area. It's a wonderfully quiet place. Spotlessly clean and beautiful decor. The breakfast was delicious, delicious.

Room tip: all are lovely

We went totally against our rules on booking a B&B and are so glad that we did.

It has always until now our policy that if the website does not allow you to view the rooms then we do no book it, we came across Blue Willow through a general search on the Internet and were disappointed that the website had no accommodation links or gallery images. However TripAdvisor was full of positive comments about the accommodation and the owners.

So we made contact with Maxine over the telephone to discuss the possible arrangements for our trip. She was engaging and informative and we knew that she was someone that we would get along with.

Our stay is now over and Maxine and Jim lived up to our expectations no they surpassed them.

Their home is a delight, full of interesting ornaments and antique furniture, the bed in the Rose Room was like sleeping on a cloud, a rather large cloud that is. Take advantage of the garden it is well presented and has many places to enjoy the sun, shade or a mixture.

Now if you are thinking of staying at Blue Willow be prepared for breakfast it is a production not a meal, it will last some time and you will probably not eat anything else for several hours if then.

I have no hesitation of recommending the Blue Willow to anyone thinking of visiting the Qualicum Beach area I cannot imagine much better.
