Stayed for two nights in early September. We really wanted a two bedroom but got a loft and a Murphy bed. The hotel is comfy though and has a full kitchen and very clean. Quiet a few restaurants in the local area. There are sunbeds on the front area and you can walk down to beach

Room Tip: Upper floor best

We stayed for 4 nights recently, with 2 adults & 3 children.

The location is terrific and we enjoyed walking directly outside to the beach BUT..the place had a few issues that left a sour taste in the mouth.

We booked & paid for a room for 5 guests, but we only received crockery and towels for 4. It meant that we had to go back and forth with housekeeping to get a 5th towel so we could all have a shower. It would have been so much nicer if the room had been prepared as we booked it.

The room was really crowded with furniture, so much so that with 5 people, we had to pack up the beds and push our furniture out of the way so that we had room to move around each morning. Again, not a deal breaker but just a little thing that left us feeling flat.

Finally, the toilet was blocked on Day One. The housekeeping lady was very helpful and gave me some terrific tips to clear any future blockages but really guys...please get them fixed.

A nice place, friendly staff, a good base for our holiday but I won't hurry back.

fter a 23 hour journey, we had to fluff around with

We stayed 3 nights at Shorewater as a midpoint stop for touring the mid-island sights. Our room was spotless and was recently renovated with a bright and airy decor which only added to make the view of the water relaxing and tranquil. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of spots to see and places to dine. A great spot for a mini-vacation... thanks!!
Fully appointed kitchen and loft bedroom. with additional sleeping possibilities with a murphy bed and sofa-bed

Room Tip: lovely sandy beach with rocky spots for beach-combing. Spots out front to enjoy a beach bonfire.

A few weeks a go, my sisters and I took turns staying at the Shorewater in Qualicum while visiting our mother at the hospital. It was a very difficult time, resulting in our mother's passing... however we were so fortunate to have stumbled across the Shorewater Resort. It was an incredible sanctuary at the end of our long difficult days. The location is right on the beach so you are treated to gorgeous ocean views, the sound of seals and sealions & waves crashing on the shore.
The staff is outstanding... even before hearing of our situation they were so friendly and accommodating. And the rooms themselves are lovely, spacious, self-catering condo-style apartments, with full kitchens, lofts and comfortable beds.
Finally the premises inside and out are spotless. Very clean and well maintained.
I highly recommend this property for any traveler.
Thanks Shoreline Staff (Angela in particular.)

We stayed in an upper loft. It was great for the three of us with Murphy bed downstairs and double bed upstairs. We had a small balcony with furniture overlooking the beach. The room includes a full kitchen. Free parking, good wi-fi and room was very quiet. The only criticism would be that the decor, furniture and kitchen equipment was very "dated." Would stay here again though, as the rates and location are great.
