This is the place for a getaway R&R. Quiet, beautiful waterfront location on the St. Laurence River. Traditional old Inn atmosphere. Charming staff. Food in the restaurant is excellent and beautifully presented. 2 minute walk to the Thousand Island Playhouse. We return every time we need a break.

Given the high rating on Tripadvisor, I followed and booked this place for the family and it turned out to be a great place given that Gananoque is not a big place. Just outside the inn, there is a great water view where you can take great photos. There was a nice piano at the lobby and remembered my children grabbing the crispy apples at the counter. Old styled and still using keys, these gives the rustic and nostalgic feeling. The rooms were dated but facilities were well furbished and comfortable beds for nights rest. Breakfast was a steal as it served very nice a la carte breakfast and gave my family a surprise birthday cake and everyone singing along... what a joy to be at this place! Feeling back like home. There is free parking in front of the inn. ;)

We went for a murder mystery package and it was a great time. The package gave us our room, parking, dinner, the murder mystery and breakfast. The food was great and the show was a lot of fun. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. We stayed in the main in which was nice we didn't have to go outside for the dinner just down the stairs. The only thing that we didn't like was the bathrooms could use some updates. Overall we would go again we had a great time.

First time to the Ganaoque Inn and Spa with friends that recommended it from Kingston and Ottawa. We decide to spend the night at one of their Jacuzzi suites. Our room faced the St. Lawrence seaway and was beautiful. Our night of Ontario wine tasting and delicious small course meals were artistically beautiful and delicious to eat. A fantastic evening and staff.

Room Tip: I like the ground floor waterfront rooms.
