On a friend's recommendation we spent two nights at Camomile Cottage. I don't often write reviews on Trip Advisor, but this was without a doubt the best B & B we have ever stayed at, so I wanted to endorse all the wonderful things other people have said about it.
The cottage has been beautifully renovated, decorated and furnished, full of lovely objects and artwork, and feels very much like a home, not an 'establishment'. One real bonus is the large and very cosy living room for guests' use, with facilities for drinks in the kitchen next door, which you can use at any time.
Aly is an exceptionally welcoming and friendly hostess, and this is what makes the whole experience so outstandingly good.

Beautiful cottage, lovingly restored, where you will get a warm welcome, excellent breakfasts and comfortable bedrooms. Aly and Tim have created a unique B and B with attention to detail, a store of local knowledge which provides an endless list of great pubs and places of interest to visit. Southwold, Aldeburgh, Lavernham and Sutton Hoo all within reach. Independent shops and antique centres are plentiful and Snape Maltings worth a visit
Fabulous and without fault.

This b&b truly lives up to all the great reviews we read on trip adviser. We were greeted by Aly. She showed us around and served tea and yummy homemade cake in the garden when we arrived.
The guests lounge is decorated with artwork and interesting finds and lovely period furniture. The breakfast room is airy and fresh, looking out onto the inviting garden. We were welcomed to relax and enjoy this space throughout our stay, and there were lots of interesting books to browse through. We were able to make tea and fresh coffee whenever we fancied a brew.
Our room was cosy, with lovely antique furniture.
The bathroom was fab, with a lovely shower! And white fluffy towels.
The breakfast was scrumptious, with fresh fruit salad, cereals, toast and a cooked breakfast -cooked to perfection! And there was plenty of it!
Camomile Cottage is a perfect getaway, and we highly recommend it!
