We had just stopped in to see Peggy and decided to have a coffee while we were out. Very nice atmosphere inside, very relaxed and friendly. Coffee was nice and hot, big mugs. Lots of selection for baked goods, soups sandwiches. Everything made there, from scratch.

I absolutely love their high tea! FRESH sandwiches and baked goods. You simply cannot get better anywhere!

5 of us went for high tea today and it exceeded all of my expectations. Having been for lunch and scones at English Tarts before, I knew to expect great service and delicious home made dishes but the high tea surpassed any other experience with high tea I have had in the past.
There was an abundance of food, all home made including the bread. We left with three cake boxes of left overs to enjoy later!
The selection of teas included iced or hot tea each made from specialty teas. The Queens Blend was outstanding.
Definitely worth trying again for a special weekend treat!!

Overall everything was average - bread was whole wheat with crust not removed. Pastries did not taste homemade (quite dry). Experience not to be repeated. We were all very disappointed.

The best place to have a delicious lunch made and served by the very nicest of people! Enjoy their sandwiches on their homemade bread, delicious quiches and sticky toffee pudding if it’s available.
