Two night stay in the middle of September. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Great host and absolutely fantastic breakfasts! Just off the highway so conveniently located to get to all of the attractions of Kootenay Lake.

Beautiful self contained suites with wonderfully comfortable beds and top class bathroom suites. Lovely details make this a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach, the fire pit and canoe availability. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating to any requests. Breakfast was served on our deck and we enjoyed both a full cooked breakfast and the continental option. Could not have faulted either. We will be back to enjoy this lovely B and B on the shores of the beautiful West Arm.

Room Tip: Both suites have decks and beach access.

We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the year's and this one ranks as one of the best. The location is superb... quiet, private sandy beach a short drive from Nelson. The room was very clean and well equipped (we stayed in the Moose suite)... and the hosts were fantastic. Knowledgeable about the area and quick to answer any questions. Breakfasts were served right outside your door on a private deck with a view of the ocean... We will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Both rooms are on the lower level of the house, but are walk out to private beach. Moose suite is slightly more private than Bear suite.

Willow Point Beach B and B is a delightful place to stay. Len and Maureen were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Moose suite, which had a bedroom area, shower room, lounge and kitchenette, home from home! Breakfast was delivered to our rooms with the option of eating inside or out on the deck, weather permitting. Nelson was a very vibrant interesting town with many historic buildings and a great market. Great place, great people and a truly great time. Try it.

The location of this B&B is wonderful, its in a quiet area with a white sandy beach, about 10 min north of Nelson. You are able to use the canoe, paddleboat, BBQ and fire pit which provides lots of entertainment. The suites are large and comfortable with a small kitchen, recently renovated. We stayed in the Bear suite which was very nice, the patio was nice for sipping wine and is also where the breakfasts are served. The hosts were also very delightful and great to talk to.

I didn't give 5 stars because our breakfasts weren't marvelous and the beds weren't too comfortable.. The 1st morning's breakfast was not made by the hosts as they had golf plans, instead the meal was provided by their daughter and was very 'European', consisting of a hardboiled egg each, two snack-size cups of activia yogurt, some cold cut meat, cheese and croissants from the local save-on and some cantelope, we were full however I have to admit I was quite unimpressed with the amount of effort..The 2nd morning was much better though as it was an actual cooked meal, which is more of what one would expect at a B&B. Also the beds were quite old (expect to wake up sunken into the middle of the bed) and squeaky (sorry there is no other way to express that).. Just hope you don't have honeymooners beside you..

Room Tip: Bear suite was nice, Moose suite might be more private??
