We stayed at Willow Point beach house for five wonderful days during our trip from Calgary to Vancouver. It was lovely to relax and chill out at the lake doing a bit of site seeing and eating lovely food with lovely friends thanks Mo,Len & Dawn you made an amazing trip even better.

We stayed here over the Victoria Day long weekend and it was just amazing. I've been telling all of our friends since then that if you are going to be in the Nelson area (and you should go to the Nelson area!), stay at Willow Point Beach House! The house has two beautiful suites on the lower level, overlooking the spectacular lake with mountains in the distance, a porch for lounging on, lovely flowers, and a private beach. Our hosts were so incredibly friendly and helpful! We took the canoe out for a spin and soaked up some sunshine on the beach with lunch. The water was too cold for swimming that early in the year but the beach is gorgeous sand and quite secluded. The location is far enough outside Nelson that you feel you've gotten away, but close enough to drive in for dinner, and it's tucked down against the lakeshore, so it's super quiet. You can hear the waves lapping at the sand all night -- we slept so well! And I am leaving out the best part: the BREAKFASTS! Multiple courses on beautiful china (seriously, waffles with fresh berries AND THEN eggs benedict?!) served on our private porch overlooking the lake. Absolutely the best B&B experience we have ever had, hands down. We will be back!

We consider ourselves so fortunate to have selected Willow Point beach house for our stay. The suite was so spacious and comfortable, the view fantastic, the beach access inviting and perfect for launching our kayaks onto a pristine lake. But above all, we enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts on the deck each morning and the chance to interact with our wonderful hosts. Sets a high standard for B and B experiences of the future. See you for our next visit. Brian and Carolyn , Regina SK

What a lovely relaxing place to stay. A comfortable suite, with our own deck area, looking out over the private sandy beach on Kootenay lake. We really enjoyed our 3 days at Willow Point whilst touring around The Rockies. Maureen served us delicious breakfasts on the deck each morning, and gave us a lot of useful info on places to visit etc. As it was, we made sure we got back early each day to relax and enjoy the beach and its facilities. Many thanks for being such great hosts. From Paul & Aileen Bagshaw, Derby, England.

We loved our stay here, beautiful location, clean new cozy suite, good good food and most of all Len and Maureen are open, caring, inviting hosts. We stayed several days and it was so nice just to sit by the lake and enjoy the sunset or have coffee in the morning and listen to all the birds.
