I booked this with three friends. We all really enjoyed ourselves. The spa was small but enjoyable. There were always yummy little homemade treats out. The staff was friendly and kind. The food was really good and served in a timely fashion. The only thing is that I was charged 50 dollars for tips and this was not mentioned to me upon booking. I didn't mind, but thought that the owner should have brought that up ahead of time.

From ambiance through service through presentation through food quality....it was truly wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience and while we didn't stay overnight , could imagine that being icing on the cake

We live in Collingwood and were looking for a private dining room for a gourmet luncheon for 11 adults and one child We had attended a cocktail party at Beild House Inn last year and were impressed with the staff's attentiveness and courtesy.Beild House is an excellent B and B and several friends have stayed with them on visits to Collingwood but we had never had a meal at The Inn
We contacted Beild House 3 weeks ago and met with their chef Eric Madden to review our plans for the function We then met with other staff members to discuss the layout of the room for a pre-luncheon champagne tasting and one table which would accommodate all 12 guests
When we arrived on April 20 at 12.15pm,there was a fire in the fireplace and the room was tastefully decorated. All our guests were treated in a most friendly manner and we had the entire ground floor available for our luncheon.
The 3 course meal consisted of a salad course,a choice of Filet of Beef or Trout Almondine as a main course, and an exquisite dessert of home-made white chocolate ice cream with a decadent home-made double chocolate brownie
We have travelled to many places around the world and were pleased to find "Four Seasons Hotel"quality right here in our home town. Every guest was impressed but as Hostess,I wanted to have everything go smoothly Beild House surpassed my expectations.
I would recommend wholeheartedly The Beild House Inn as a 5Star quality restaurant for the type of function we enjoyed, and we will hold our next function with them.
The price was more than reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent

After a busy day, enjoy afternoon tea, sit on the comfy sofa, relax and read the Toronto Star by the warmth of a fireplace. The interior and exterior is truly a Victorian style mansion. Taste the wonderful hor’deuvres served by staff and whet your pallet for dinner. Before you book your stay, you can place your custom dinner order from the on-line menu. We enjoyed sharing the dinner table with ten other guests. It felt like a family dinner and everyone enjoyed each other's conversation. You can also bring your own wine and enjoy it. The finely appointed rooms upstairs are very comfortable and quiet. The Victorian beds are extremely roomy. We stayed for breakfast the next day and enjoyed a wonderful Eggs Benedict by Chef Eric (see photo).

Room Tip: All the rooms have Victorian style canopy beds. Most rooms have a good view of the town of Collingwood.

My gf did lots of research and checked all sorts of options before booking us in to the Beild House. Wow - great place. So many pluses from the across-the-board friendly, helpful staff, to the lovely room and comfortable bed, to the lovely social spaces and all sorts of little details looked after.
We are planning to return again!
