We stayed at this hotel in the summer for 3 nights. I booked the hotel based on the pictures and online reviews, however, the room that we were given was not at all like the pictures. The furniture was very old, worn and tired which was a stark difference to the photos online.

The hotel is located close to town which is great for walking and sight seeing.

If you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors it might be an option for you, however, I would pass on staying at this hotel again.

Loved the hotel was so comfortable and welcoming when you walked in the front door. Front desk staff was amazing. Housekeepers were to. They accomodated my early check in. Beds by far the most comfortable i have slept on in a hotel in awhile. Everything is a stone throws away from the hotel so you can take a cab for a flat rate or walk 10 to 15 minutes to get into town. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a nice get away. Its very cost effective.

This area seemed cheaper than Banff so we weren't sure what to expect, but we loved Canmore. The Grizzly Paw brewery/restaurant deserves a mention, as do the walk/cycle ways.
The Hotel isn't luxurious, but it worked very well for us and provides good value for money. Clean, quiet, spacious rooms, friendly staff, a short walk from the town.
The Canadian Rockies region is just spectacular - I've never said 'wow' as many times in my life. Every corner you walk or drive around has more beautiful views than the last. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake were stunning and we did a (long) day drive up to Athabascar Glacier, which was fantastic. Lots of wildlife to be seen too.
We certainly hope to be back another time

We stayed here because everything else affordable was sold out and we were actually quite happy. For the price you pay and considering its a 3 star it's really decent. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There are no services or amenities but it's not that type of hotel which is clear when you book. And there was wifi, cable and the AC worked very well. I'd stay here again.

My husband and infant decided on taking a last minute trip to Canmore and Banff. This hotel was the only one with availability which was great, and I know beggars can't be choosers, but this hotel was ridiculous. We spent three nights in the hotel. Our first night we spent in a great room, the king bedroom. Bed was comfortable, view was amazing, we had a fridge and it was an overall decent room. The next two nights we were down graded to a double Queen room. This is where we noticed why the hotel was available. We noticed the accent pillows were dirty, and there were stations in the bed runners. So we asked the house keepers if they washed these when they changed the bedding. They said no. We were horrified. The stains on the bed runners looked like semen! Barf. Not only this, the breeds themselves were hard as a rock and we woke up so sore. There were also little things that made this hotel a definite no. Such as the only thing they offer is coffee with sugar and powdered creamer. Is it really so much to ask for cream or milk? And another thing. They don't provide shampoo or conditioner so we went to shoppers and bought some. And they don't provide housekeeping. You pay extra for that. $25 a day.

Don't stay here unless you are REALLY tight on cash. My infant daughter had a better bed than we did in her Pack and Play.
