We stay here one night per summer combining it with a visit to the adjacent Castle Fun Park; if you're planning a visit there, definitely stay here if a night in Abbotsford is in your plans.
The air-conditioning was only okay, and thankfully it was a cloudy and relatively cool day/night. For the majority of our visits there has been at least some 'issue' with a room too warm, a/c under performing or clunking on and off all night. Regardless, for 75% of the year this wouldn't be an issue so it's not a deal breaker. Keep in mind that if you simply want to open the windows, unless you are on the 'mountain' side of the property, the adjacent freeway is VERY loud, this could be an issue at night.
Our rooms have always had a small refrigerator (including small freezer compartment); the actual website doesn't guarantee one but we've never been without. Also, the coffee maker is no longer a K-cup type, small filter bags but there were 4 (and free), just FYI. Good strong free wi-fi, no password required. Beds were very comfortable, everything else about our stay was just fine. And it is worth repeating that - if heading towards the Lower Mainland/Vancouver, you won't find anything comparable for this price even half an hour down the road, especially in the summer months (if you can even get a room).More
