Description: The award winning Conservatory bar and restaurant is the perfect blend between casual dining and drinking. Perfectly situated on the waters edge in the heart of the city, the ambience is fun, unpretentious and incredibly welcoming. As the worlds "first living bar", the green wall is the main feature with comfortable seating designed for you to relax all day and late into the night. Our delectable food is produced with local, free range and predominantly organic produce, with plates designed to share, from fresh seafood to salads, our infamous 18 inch pizzas, or our mouth watering mains. With vases of beer, a supreme selection of New Zealand wine and carefully designed cocktails, this truly is that place that suits every occasion. The Conservatory - it's about living

My wife and I ate at The Conservatory this evening, got a place in the open area without a booking, it was a chilly night but we were comfy under a big heater, and blankets and hot water bottles were standard issue.

Fast friendly service. Food came quickly. Had expected the 200g Scotch fillet steak to be quite small but it was enormous. My pork ribs were similar, 10 ribs and lots of meat with generous serve of shoestring fries and a very tasty slaw.

With one drink apiece, the meal cost $92 so it was not an expensive night. We were very glad to have chosen The Conservatory after strolling 1.5kms along the waterfront looking at menus.

A really lovely place with happy friendly staff. Inside dining and outside dining they staff bring blankets and hot water bottles to keep those dining outside warm which is a nice touch. Food was really good as well as an awesome ambience. Would recommend.

We visited the Conservatory on 3 occasions during our stay in Auckland whilst competing in the World Masters Games.
On all occasions, the food, service, drinks and general atmosphere you could not fault. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a very friendly atmosphere.

We met several friends for dinner at this waterfront favorite in Auckland. Several of our party had their Moo Burgers and others had different pizzas. Both the burgers and pizzas were really tasty and well prepared.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We dined on a really lovely evening, so the outside seating was great.

The service was awesome, with attentive, friendly wait staff. If you're spending a few days in Auckland, be sure to have dinner at The Conservatory at least one evening. You won't be disappointed.

We had taken a walk around the harbour and as it started to rain decided to stop for a drink and a light meal. We choose The Conservatory on the recommendation of a young lady, how glad we were. Good service, lovely cocktails, (especially the strawberry shortcake) happy to split a bill between a large group of us. Wish we could have sat here on a sunny day, but was even nice in heavy rain.
