The accommodation looked very tired. The pool was empty despite it being June. There was no air conditioning in the room and even though we had both windows open it was still very warm. I would not want to be there when it was any hotter. I think the Inn would be different again if we were there for a skiing holiday but I wouldn't stop again in the summer.

We arrived for a two night stay and having booked a king size room were told that someone who arrived earlier had been given that room but there were queen rooms.

Having paid, the owner then remembered that we had booked and could have the king size room upstairs.

The positives are that the hotel is in a great location just up from the lake and beach and far enough from the main road through town to mean there was little traffic noise and the rooms were comfortable with fridge and a microwave.

Obviously also used for ski season so the room had a fireplace and central heating that we didn't use.

The downsides were that the rooms seemed tired and to be in need of updating with more secure doors/locks and the pool & jacuzzi were closed, despite being well into June.

Overall, comfortable and sufficient but not a place that left a memory that means I would have to stay there again in future, which is a shame.

It is on the stateline. The Nevada casinos are across the street and a private beach is 3 blocks away. It is family owned for many years and they arealways very helpful. It is not the most modern of buildings. The WiFi is fast and I like the pool.

Booked a 2 night stay for a room with a kitchenette. A swarm of flies, mosquitoes whatever you call it is ever present in the parking lot. The place is a motel so I did not expect cleanliness to be of any high standard. The room although clean is in real need of an update so much so that the flat screen television is at least 30 years younger to the rest of the room's content. The kitchenette is where there should be alarm bells ringing since all appliances are way past their sell by date. They worked while we were there but really as the previous guy mentions they seemed to be a fire hazard to me. Things that work in the hotel's favor is proximity to the beach and to the town center and its amiable proprietor who welcomed us and also guided us patiently to the attractions. I would recommend the hotel only if there is no other place available in what is essentially an overpriced tourist town.Probably fit for a single person but not for families.
