We called in here for Saturday lunch prior to watching the Glastonbury Carnival in the evening and knowing that restaurants in Glastonbury on carnival evening are impossible to get in to. The atmosphere was great and not too busy as it is hidden well away in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The food was excellent, well presented and real quality not just your standard pub grub by any means. The fish and chip main course was far better than any fish and chip shop and all three of us enjoyed our starters of pate, deep fried Brie and prawn cocktail.
Will definitely return next time we are down that way again and would highly recommend. Many thanks.
