If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track. Somewhere so wonderfully peaceful. Somewhere where you are surrounded by the sounds of nature and breathtaking views, then you have just found it. Believe me.
Many thanks to Richard for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable.

“Perfect Tranquility”
Reviewed 13 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Richard and his wife made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The chalet was extremely comfortable and the surrounding area idyllic. The daily visit of the ducks and Thorn the dog an added bonus.
Would highly recommend to anyone - we are looking forward to returning.

“Comfy place in beautiful location”
Reviewed 31 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The chalet is well equipped and has everything you need. The location is fantastic if you are wanting to get away from it all, but also a good base from which to explore Snowdonia and the coast. The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgable about where to go and what to do. Dog-friendly as well which is a plus.

“Peaceful , cosy , great views .”
Reviewed 16 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have just returned from a week at Ty Cerrig . Stayed as just a couple , and for us the chalet was comfortable , and well equipped . Storage heaters in every room should it turn cold , large comfy sofa , and a modern kitchen . In nice grounds with fantastic views to Cader Idris . Good to sit on patio and watch the five amusing ducks . Very good walks locally include the Precipice Walk . Cader Idris , and Cregennan Lakes . Highly recommended .

“A beautiful retreat from the stresses of everyday life”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Ty Cerrig is set in a beautiful valley with a stunning view of Cader Idris. The challet is clean, homely and well equipped. It is set in pretty, spacious gardens that are a haven to wild birds and bats in the evening. Our 2 dogs were welcomed by our our host and loved the huge expanse of space in which to roam and play. The gardens would be an asset to families with young children. The local area is a paradise for walkers or simply for those who love unspoilt quiet countryside relatively free of tourists. It's a glorious mix of mountains lakes, wooded valleys and beautiful coastline. A week is not long enough to appreciate all the area has to offer. Many thanks to Richard for the warm welcome and also for providing us with the privacy and seclusion we so wanted. We had a wonderful holiday.
