We booked a stay at a Wellness Hotel with four stars, but were very disappointed because this hotel hardly meets the standards of a two star hotel. The restaurant is more like a school canteen with dirty tablecloths. The services are poor - you meet the same person at the reception (if there is anyone at all), at the bar and as a weitress. The cleaning staff enters your room without knocking. Very poor breakfast - missing basic ingredients like ketchup, mustard, there was no fruit to choose from. The so called wellness center was either not opened or broken, no personell and no towels/sheets in the sauna. We were "lucky" having an acceptably nice room, but our neighbours were complaining about a broken shower. There was no view, but lot of noice under the windows because of ongoing construction works around the hotel. The only advantage of the hotel was its great location - 5 minutes walk to the beautiful center of Trencianske Teplice town. Maybe we were there just in a very bad season and by now the hotel has really the standard and services that it claims on its webpage...More
