My partner and I stayed here for two night via a Travelzoo promotion. I cant thank the staff enough for a fantastic stay. The hotel is a beautiful gothic building set in lovely park land. We were staying in an executive room and from the moment we arrived we had a great time. The staff are a real credit to this hotel. Often you go away and the staff are jaded and going through the motions. Here the staff were warm, friendly and always happy to help. Drinks in the drawing room pre-dinner is lovely and a must. The dining room is wood panelled and gives a sense of days gone by - and the menu is wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and we will definitely be back.

This was our second visit and again it was perfect. The rooms are amazing and it feels like you are staying in a stately home rather than a hotel. The staff really make the hotel with their warmth and their willingness to tell you about the hotels history etc.
it is a very relaxing place that makes you feel very special and the pool is a perfect depth and temperature. Lovely bar food and breakfast and a morning stroll through the grounds made this a perfect weekend. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Room tip: A suite has lots of extras and wonderful views

Just stayed here with friends for a night. We had a package which included dinner. The hotel itself is lovely. Stunning buildings and grounds. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We used the pool & hot tub, not the biggest of areas but nice to use. Bedroom was lovely & spacious. Liked the extra touches such as the fresh milk in the mini fridge.
Dinner was delicious. Great quality and nice ambience.
The only let down was breakfast. They were obviously busy & ?short staffed as we waited a while to get a table and seemed to be getting in the way of people who were getting their continental breakfast. Once we did sit down it was a while before we got our pot of tea and 50 minutes until we got our cooked breakfast. Such a shame as everything else was great.
I will definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

We spent 2 days at the Ettington on business. The hotel is a couple of miles outside Stratford upon Avon and set in some beautiful grounds including an old Norman church. The meeting room we had was called the courtyard and catered for all of our needs. Fresh tea, coffee and a variety of pastries etc were brought every couple of hours. We had lunch in a converted chapel which was great. We stayed over at the hotel and this is recommended. The rooms are great. Top quality with all you could ask. They even turn the beds down. Free WiFi included. The only negative is the poor cell signal. i am with EE and couldn't get a signal in the hotel. Top Tip, stand under flag pole for a good signal!
The hotel has some quite amazing features inside. Wood carvings and stone fire places. There are plenty of rooms to sit and watch the wildlife pass the windows.
The staff were great, they couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel both for business and for pleasure.

My wife and I stayed here for four days on business. The room was clean, nicely appointed, and quiet. We were attending a conference which was managed nicely by the hotel staff. The food was outstanding and the level of cooperation of the staff was great.
