We spent 3 nights here, its a nice little resort on a quiet Island. The rooms was okay with a really spacious bathroom. Food was okay. If you go snorkeling, swim out to the drop off and then follow the reef to the west. The reef got damaged in an earthquake a few years ago so its quite destroyed right off the resort.

A quiet tranquile place. Nice and tidy rooms, pool and severals spots to sit around the resort (deck chairs, hammocks etc). Some nice snorkelling just a short swim out from the beach. Good food but a little on the pricier side, nice friendly staff. We went diving with a german guy who has his place (diving and restaurant) just a short walk away, other from that there is not much to do than just relax!

Isla Hayahay is the perfect alternative to staying in the overpopulated, moderately chaotic areas of Panglao or Alona. The bay is right at the doorstep of the resort and while there is not a true beach, there is a small sandy area and the waters are great for wading, kayaking and if you go further out, for swimming and some snorkeling. I suggest water shoes as the bottom is not all sandy.

My group of 5 availed of a very reasonably priced all-in 4- day-3-night package that included meals, countryside tour, dolphin watching tour, snorkeling tours and island hopping tours. Our guide and driver, Abner, accompanied us for the whole-day countryside tour and for the dolphin-watching and fish sanctuary tour. He went over and above in accommodating us and was an excellent guide and driver. Ryan, accompanied us in the island-hopping tour and set up lunch for us in one of the beautiful sandbars. The kitchen staff did an excellent job with our meals which were all delicious and with more than adequate servings.

The cottage we stayed in was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was roomy and clean. The area was quiet and perfect for communing with nature and enjoying the hammocks and lounge chairs during downtimes or after-tours. There is also a swimming pool. For some small-town experience, the town is only a few minutes away by tricycle.

The resort certainly provided that balance of ocean adventures and tours with restful moments and relaxation without the garish karaoke all-nighters and the trash left behind by all-night revelers and drunks.

Wonderful experience and will certainly visit again!

We came here from a resort on Alona beach just for a change of pace. Nice property with excellent management, great location. Neither small nor fancy but friendly and clean and well run. Rooms are spacious and clean.

A nice and friendly resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. They arranged driver and car for us for a countryside tour which included a visit to the Tarsier sanctuary,Chocolate Hill and a boat trip with lunch at Loboc River. The prices of their activities is very reasonable and they took good care of us.
