Fantastic food - fresh, tasty and with lovely local twist. The place is very nicely decorated - walk in from the heat and cars outside into quite american diner atmosphere.

For starters we had tabule salad, cauliflower and eggplant - tasty and fresh.

Main courses:
Sloppy joe, beef hamburger - generous portions, perfectly made and oh so tasty. Chicken and veal skewers were good, steak was huge and perfect. Side dishes - Fries and home fries had an added touch of spices - we couldn't stop eating them.

For dessert we had Kanafeh - the best I ever had (they asked us to wait for it to be freshly made). It's an arab dish made from thin noodle threads and goat cheese, and syrup. Heavenly.....

Service was friendly and attentive.

This unassuming place in Migdal, just off the Sea of Galilee, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We decided to opt for it by default, since its more known neighbor, the Magdalena, seemed by far too expensive for what it offers. It is a meat place, right from the core, owned by the Dabah family, one of the major meat enterprises in the country. The veal and lamb chorissau appetizers were tender and tasty, but the entrecote steaks were the piece de resistance. Made to perfection, medium and medium rare respectively, they just melted in one's mouth. Service throughout was swift, attentive and generous. When one of our friends asked for a home fries portion to be exchanged with one without the sauce, it has been replaced immediately without a fuss. A good place for hungry people who love meat.

We visited Angus after a recommendation of local friends. Unfortunately the only thing I have come to expect at many israeli restaurants is a high bill and mediocre food, but Angus was the opposite- a fair price for above average food. The burgers are 230 grams, cooked as requested with crispy fries and a nice slaw( fries were extra) . Service was excellent, as we were attended to promptly. If you are in the Tiberias/ Migdal area and a wanting a burger visit Angus. You’ll be glad you did.

Stopped in this evening for a relaxed dinner. We were the only customers which felt a bit weird. We ordered burgers, mini kebab, beer and red wine. Every thing was average at best. The burger ordered medium came out medium rare. The other one was a bit overcooked. Beer was ok. Wine was poor. Service was fine. Prices were fair...for Israel. A 10% tip was added to the check. Overall, the meal was adequate.
