Just got back from a stay at the hideaway campsite ,owners were friendly and helpful, nice kitchen space and lounge which I used in the evenings, clean showers and toilets. A nice relaxing place to stay would recommend for anyone to go and stay .good place for families plenty for the children to do. Friendly cat called scab but watch your food as she went in my tent and pinched my sausage roll. If I'm in the area again I would gladly use the Hideaway again.

I stayed in Rosie last week with my son Finlay for a short break away from it all, and we had a brilliant time. The site is very quiet and hidden away, and Rosie is particularly special.
Hosts are really friendly too.
Definitely recommended for a different type of break.

It would be difficult to find more welcoming and accommodating hosts, we felt like we were visiting old friends. A beautiful site hidden away in the heart of the countryside with a limited number of individual pitches which are well spaced meaning a degree of privacy whilst still maintaining a feeling of community. Each pitch has its own fire pit with logs, 'Mystical Fire' and marshmallows to toast available in the on site shop. Lots for children to see and explore on site including the Fairy Glade, a stream and pond and The Cabin well equipped for those wet days. A haven of peace, quiet and tranquillity, a great place to get away from it all and relax with camp fires and stargazing.

We found this beauty of a campsite after some classic car troubles meant we needed to stop for the night and we're glad we did! Amy the owner was friendly and very accommodating, squeezing us in for the night even though the campsite was almost full. This really is a hidden gem! Well layed out pitches with plenty of space between them and great views of the Devon hills. The facilities although basic, are very clean and well kept so we couldn't ask for more. There's even a small indoor kitchen area and lounge for cold evenings. Thanks for the stay and we did end up making it down to Cornwall for our holiday.

Six adults, five whippersnappers (ages 4-13). We’re talking about relax, no roads, no challenge, no hurry, no fuss. The hosts Eddy and Amy were incredible in their balance of welcoming, open, reasonable we’re-here-for-you-but-if-you-don’t-need-us-you-won’t-see-us approach. They’re lovely. The spaces they’ve created for relaxing are perfect. And boy do they work! It’s brilliant for kids to play with nature. With their imagination. As they (we?) did, and should do more. Beautiful. We had two vans two awnings. Barbeque. Walk. Hammock. Stream. Foxgloves. Nuthatch. Hazel. Oak. Stream. Wonderful. Next time minimum three nights. Thankyou. You’ve worked hard to create an amazing wonderful thing.
Oh. Practical..... good showers. Good recycling. Splendid compost loos as well as supersonic flushing modern ones, pukka washing up facilities and an amazing space to spend a rainy day if you need it (we could easily all have spent all day in there with your games and books on those sofas)
Thankyou. We camp a lot. Thankyou so much
Heaps of hideaway splendidness!
