Camber Sands Holiday Park - Park Resorts
Reviewed 6 November 2017 via mobile

The touring park is tiny and situated next to the road and the beach which was perfect for the dog. The beach that is! Everyone was really friendly.

Negative - touring park is far from the main complex and the shop. Another downside, I was sited next to the tennis courts which was fun for me and the kids until someone kicked a football at my Caravan and broke the roof window - luckily the dad offered to play for it.

The pool and complex itself is fab. We were there for Halloween. Kids played crazy golf.
There’s loads for the kids to do. We were lucky with the weather.

There’s a fab spa room, just £16 per hour and you have the sauna and jacuzzi for yourself and 5 friends (over 16s). We snuck in a bottle of prosecco! Ssshhhh!

Great complex and would love to visit again but I had a sneaky peak at prices and looks like £50 per night. If so, I won’t be going back.

Stayed: October 2017

Hi there,

We are so pleased to hear that you had a great time :-)

We are that you were disappointed with the distance from the complex to the touring area, we designed the park this way to minimize the noise from the main complex area to the touring field.

We are pleased that you liked the facilities overall. Please do not hesitate to give us a call on: 0330 123 4850 and the team can find the perfect price for you.

Cannot fault. Really clean and tidy especially considering it is off season. Very well kept. Lots of things to do for the kids. Only downside I would highlight is there should be bit more for adults and /or kids to mix and do. Rooms were brilliant.

Room Tip: Good clean friendly atmosphere

We just got back from 7 days at camber sands holiday park very good time we had Darren the entertainment manager was polite and always spoke but the other troupers didn't which was a shame,,,, swimming pool was good apart the changing room very cold and dirty didn't know why there was sand in the pool...a couple of life guards was very polite when we booked the spa and sauna that was good ... Entertainment was Okish... Shop staff need a smile and speak to customers instead of talking to each other there is in a lady shop I think it's wrong that she plays the link bingo I have been to other sites and they don't allow it... Arcades staff very polite to us... Alex h and Ian bar man very good skills Alex always spoke to us more then the girls did and also Alex got Nathan to c us about a caravan as we r thinking about getting a caravan can't wait for June 2018 as we will be back

The people at Camber Sands Holiday park were all nice and I had no issues with the staff. It is just the place. We were in the touring caravan park and we were pretty close to a busy road. We may have been only 50m from the beach, but over a barbed wire fence and across the road and over a large sea defence. So don't be sold by the map that shows it being incredibly close. There was very little in the way of landscaping between caravans etc. Toilets were okay, but the washing up sinks were blocked and even the chemical toilet drain was blocked at one point. The facilities in terms of entertainment were not really used, but they looked really good and new. The pool was average but apart from the changing rooms being a bit dirty (nothing unique here) it was fine and not too overcrowded when we went. There are so many nice campsites out there and I'm just gutted we picked one that was crammed in where tourers were seen as an after thought. Once on the beach, it was very nice though.

Room Tip: Make sure you research which spot/caravan you get to stay in and insist.
