After reading some reviews I was apprehensive about staying here but we were really impressed with our 'bronze' category caravan. We are in our 20s and I'm pregnant and was worried about the cleanliness, but apart from the fridge needing a bit of a clean out everything was fine - but would recommend you take your dettol spray just encase! We don't have any children yet, and found that the entertainment was completely child orientated, and bar and food prices were higher than outside the resort so didn't spend any time in the club house or cafe, we cooked and spent a lot of our time in Hastings, around 20 mins drive from Camber along the beautiful A259. Caravan itself was big and comfortable, but remember to take EVERYTHING with you, even down to toilet roll, washing up liquid and sponge. We were in 261 on Willow Way, away from club house and no close neighbours as we were there out of season - 14th to 18th May 2012 weather was good but really windy on the beach. Pool facilities were nice, but not much else was going on that we could see. We went on a £15 Sun holiday; £75 later we were still happy with our value break.
Thanks Camber Sands, might see you in a few years with our childrenX

Room Tip: Willow Way was nice and quiet, away from club house, good for families as the adventure climbing frame and swings was in the middle, with the caravans in a circle around it.

I booked Park Resorts Camber for 52 people on a football weekend, we were unsure of the caravan grade we would recieve so I requested silver, platinum and a disabled, all these were given to us. The caravans were immaculate and very clean. We had on-suite bathrooms and heating in every room (which was needed as it rained heavily).I found the beds to be more comfortable than a hotel. The night entertainment was hit and miss, but with so many of us, we still had fun. When we left I left behind two items of clothing which the Resort kindly returned to me through the post.
My only complaint is the restaurant struggled to cope with the Monday morning breakfast rush where a lot a people were leaving and wanted a full english before the journey home. We waited 45 mins, then finally recieved a refund from the Restaurant Manager.

Room Tip: Remember your tea towels, toilet roll and bath towels.

Just returned from Camber Sands Holiday Park and overall very impressed, paid just £114 for a midweek break including the dog in a bronze chalet.

Did not use any facilities on site, just wanted basic accommodation as a base.

Restaurant priced looked averagely priced but like i said, we never used any facilities.

Chalet was good, maybe a little cold, but had everything we wanted with the exception of a shaver point in the bathroom so had to shave without a mirror, but for £114 we could put up with it!!

Chalet was privately owned, although booked through park resorts.

We spent most nights in The Green Owl pub, which coming from park heading towards Rye, is turn left opposite Pontins signposted for beach, then right at end of road and is on your right.

Supermarket used was mainly Sainsburys in New Rommney but the Nisa shop on front of Pontins Complex is not too badly priced for convenience.

Just got back from a Sun 9.50 deal, we expected it to be basic etc and we only use the caravan as a base but we couldn't wait to get away. Stayed in S116 - avoid it like the plague - yes it was nice and quiet - away from the enterainment which is what we requested - but it was absolutely filthy. Dirty skid marked toilet, pair of socks left on the worktop, thick with dog hair and grime, mattresses mouldy and sofas actually left marks on our clothes they where that dusty and soiled. 2nd mattress in the 2nd little bedroom was wet but had been turned over - stank of urine! We didn't unpack the car but took the keys to reception who where less than helpful - got told in no uncertain terms to go to the show bar and they "might" get a cleaner out but it would be an hour or 2 - this was then 4.40pm and we had a tired and hungry 4 yr old. I did point out that that wasn't really good customer service and got told "well thats the way it is - can't believe you are moaning as you have keys!!"

Went to the showbar where the girl who we saw was appalled and could only offer me a M placed caravan next to the entertainment - didn't even offer to upgrade us, we refused it and they sent the cleaners down, we waited in the bar for half hour whilst they cleaned then went to our caravan and found the cleaner outside as he hadn't got keys - felt quite sorry for him as he was really embarrased when he saw the state of it! He did the best he could but couldn't replace the bathroom blind which had the middle sections missing and covered in mould - it really was appallingly filthy!,

We actually booked into Park Holidays Frenchmans Beach in Rye Harbour for half of the price of a 3 night break at Camber park resorts - clean comfy caravans, superb staff and great food!

Don't bother with Camber Park Resorts as they aren't interested in the customers, most of the little childrens amusements are out of order and the fish and chips onsite is absolutely dreadful!

Shame on you Park Resorts - invest some money, motivate your staff and you will make a kiling!

NEVER AGAIN WITH PARK RESORTS! BE WARNED!

Hi Emma, and thanks for providing us with your feedback - all customer feedback helps us to make our park a better place, and we hope to act upon it to ensure that future visitors have a great holiday when staying on-site. I appreciate your comments and would like you to know that the points raised have been bought to the attention of our staff. I'm naturally disappointed that, in your case, we appear to have failed in our mission to create amazing memories, but hope that you'll pay our site another visit in the future. Thanks again for your feedback.

Accommodation:
We had a gold plus caravan which has 3 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and enough seating for 9 adults and 2 children. (with room on the floor for games) The quality of the caravan was very good.

Site:
The caravan side of the site was well kept. We walked the entire park and some of the chalets the other side of the site looked awful and i cannot believe they allow people to stay in them. Some were boarded up or smashed in. They need to knock all these down.

Facilities:
They have multiple indoor pools which makes it easier with different size children, an outdoor football\basketball pitch, crazy golf (which isn't so crazy) and some climbing areas for the kids.

They have a decent bar, a large evening entertainment area which the kids enjoyed however as an adult it was a little painful. The staff tried hard and could sing however i got the feeling they are just starting out on their careers.

Would i come again? Yes I would, however i would definitely pick a caravan and stick to off season. I cannot see the facilities holding up or enjoying the place if the site was full.

Room Tip: Stick to the caravans!
