Just back from a wonderful 2 weeks b&b at this hotel. This is our 3rd time to Skiathos and our first to this hotel. This is a very relaxed hotel, the staff do things very effortlessly and always with a smile. There were things that I observed and definitely not criticisms
1 Our room was in the main block beside the reception. These rooms are the original bedrooms with a shower in the bath. New rooms in the new blocks have proper showers . If you have mobility issues ask for a wet room.
2 The front of the hotel is on blind bend and can be difficult to cross. We found that if you walked out and went left to the footpath you had a better view to cross the road.
3 There are pleny of sunbeds for hotel guests on the beach. Just where you would go into the water it gently shelves so one step water over your feet then the next up to your shin. Just be careful especially for small children
4 The WiFi well when you read reviews you think that it can’t be that bad but unfortunately it was . We gave up trying to access it and had a proper holiday technically free. However it came to the stage where I needed to check in online to our next hotel. Our room being next to reception you would think that it would be good but it wasn’t so like the old mobiles holding them in the air walking about trying to connect. We were everywhere breakfast area, pool area, beach and then eventually we found perfect WiFi. As close as you can get on the sofas to the piano!

It is really beautiful! It has a private beach and a spa. Very generous breakfast included. Free Wi-fi. Very kind and professional staff. There is a spa worth trying. They offer a variety of massages at reasonable prices. They also have a very good restaurant by the beach, serving very good Greek food.

We wanted a week away in the sun to do nothing but sunbathe and relax.Booked this hotel on Thursday flew out next day.
Very good hotel and 5 star Greek rating but would suggest more 4 star.Lovely pool and private sandy beach.Amazed on the first day we could find either a sun bed by the pool or on the beach without towels at 11.30!!!.The loaction is superb and the staff very welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable but beds in std rooms quite hard.
The only gripe we have is around the food as we where on Half board, the dinner was quite bland and with odd choices of food.Timing was an issue though as it didnt open til 7.30pm and closed at 9.30 and one night we where rushed to get out.
Otherwise would recommend this location, you have to use the local bus service to get into town which was always crowded.Food and drink prices in the hotel where quite high but I think this was down to tax.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel. This was our first time to Skiathos and as a destination it did not disappoint.
Although I would recommend the Princess I did not feel that this was a 5 star resort, although maybe a Greek 5 star!
Our room was situated on the second floor overlooking the garden with a slight side sea view. It was nothing special but clean and comfortable. My first niggle was that you were charged for tea and coffee in the room! Only €0.50 for a teabag and milk or a coffee sachet and milk but this to me is
penny pinching and not what I’d expect
from a 5 star hotel plus you had to call reception and then wait for it to be
delivered!
The WiFi was rubbish - you could rarely get a signal that remained available so we gave up..not the end of the world though!
The hotel is situated on a clean, picturesque and spacious beach..there were ample sun loungers and no getting up early to reserve one! A huge plus in our books! Unfortunately a lot of them were broken and uncomfortable. The ones by the pool were much better and had thick cushions. The beach has a public section which gets quite busy and we found that a lot of people that were not guests were getting away with using the hotel beds even though there were signs up everywhere to discourage them. This would be really annoying if you couldn’t get one yourself!
The food was mostly good..breakfast was the same every day (but isn’t it everywhere?!) but always cooked fresh and plenty of choice. I particularly liked that it was a relaxed atmosphere not hectic or canteen like. There were also a few outside tables facing the beach.
We were half board but decided to eat out a few times to break it up and experience the lovely restaurants in the town. The dinner at the buffet was good enough though, with plenty of choice particularly the desserts which were amazing - the pastry chef was really proud of his work and took pleasure explaining what everything was! Probably some of the best desserts I’ve had in a hotel buffet!
I can’t criticise the staff at all they were all very friendly and polite.
The evenings we stayed in for dinner we wandered over to the hotels Taverna on the beach after for drinks which had a live band.
The location of hotel was pretty easy for getting into town on the local bus but be warned they get very crowded especially in the early evening. If you can’t get on one, attempt to wave a taxi down or ask the hotel to call one. We paid €13 each way to get into town by cab, so not too bad.
The bus stop is right by hotel as is a supermarket right opposite but there’s really nothing much else going on nearby without going into town, just some tavernas with low key atmosphere.
We also took the bus to a couple of different beaches..again, go fairly early to beat the crowds. Our favourite was Troulos which was only a few stops.
Overall, the hotel suited our purpose - if you don’t expect 5 star luxury then you’ll be satisfied with it as a base for exploring this wonderful island.
